Come Holy Spirit

Testimonies

2017 Conference Testimony

This was my first conference and it was the most beautiful expression of God's love for us and our love for Him that I have ever experienced. There was no shame, only love. No criticism or condemnation, only acceptance. An authentic expression and interpretation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who died for all our sins so that all might be saved.

No Catholic should ever fear attending, in fact, it would be a tragic loss not to. Whether we know it or not, we all crave this outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and we crave expression for the love we have received.

If you want more, if you are thirsty, come and discover the living water. Jesus is waiting for you.

It is the only image or expression of the Catholic Church that anyone should ever have. It is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the message of salvation.
With gratitude for all of your hard work and passion for souls
Kelly

January 12, 2013

“Praise God” were my first words after waking up. I was sleepy, but I understood that God had answered my prayers. I had been praying for healing after recently being diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy to remove a tumor from my right breast in July. My doctor scheduled a PET scan a few weeks later. I prayed a Rosary and Chaplet of Devine Mercy as I waited for the PET scan. A few days after that, the report came in that the PET scan had found a suspicious spot on the left breast area. I was shocked. I was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer, but another spot on the opposite side would move me to a stage IV. After the results of my PET scan, I was scheduled for a biopsy guided by CT scan. That day started early, and I was up and at the Hospital at 7am for the biopsy procedure. I had gone to the prayer group at St. Anne’s in Gulf Breeze the night before and had been lifted up in prayer. I also was put on the prayer chain at my church, St. Paul’s in Pensacola. At the hospital, I said a prayer with my husband and then was administered a sedative. The next thing I knew, the nurses were waking me up and saying that the biopsy wasn’t going to be done. They couldn’t find the spot that they were going to biopsy. The suspicious area that had showed up in the PET scan was gone. They did 3 CT Scans searching for the little bugger, but it was gone! My first words upon hearing the news was “Praise God.” The nurse had a big smile on her face and she danced a little jig as a happy dance for me. She explained that they don’t often get such good news, and that she was celebrating with me. I danced my own happy dance on the inside as they wheeled me out. Praise God for answered prayer! Thank you God!
Jamie

I have been so blessed in serving as chairperson for the Diocesan Commission for Charismatic Renewal. Every week I look forward to attending our local prayer group, but more than that I look forward to the annual conference. To hear the spirit-filled speakers, to be blessed in sacrament by our priests and bishop, to enter into the beautiful praise and worship music that surrounds us the whole weekend, and to hear the wonderful uplifting testimonies of those who attended.
God is so good!! All the time!! I, myself am an example of the powerful gift of grace and healing from our Lord! In June of 2012, just six short months ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer that had also become evident in my upper and lower spine and in the ribs on my right side. I had great peace in knowing that the Lord was going use this in some way to be a mighty testimony to HIM!! After 6 rounds of chemotherapy and more importantly, 6 months of prayer, by many of you, the faithful intercessors, and the knowing that when hands are laid on you, the Lord can do a mighty work. I want to share two of the most blessed words that my doctor spoke to my husband and me in November. *NO EVIDENCE!!!! * It’s gone!! I am healed, I have no breast cancer and there is no evidence in my bones! Praise God!
I look forward to seeing you at the conference,
Kim

About the Life in the Spirit seminar on August 11, 2012

Dear Friends in Christ Jesus,

Just wanted to share with you an excerpt from the Life in the Spirit Seminar for those of you who did not get to go! 6 of us went in one car and we enjoyed each others’ company very much!  Many others from our Prayer Meeting were already there!

The Filipino Community was so gracious, hospitable, and loving!  We were treated so well by all.  Lots of food, prayer and delightful music in Jesus. Along with some great talks by Fr. Thoyill, Fr. Valenzuala, Fr. Nixon, and Fr. Pathe! We really enjoyed it all and thank Jesus for the Community at Little Flower and for all they do.

Here’s a little peek of one of the highlights of the day…

The Life in the Spirit Seminar was so full of the love of Jesus, it was refreshing. I say this through the power of the Holy Spirit…There were a lot of good speakers, but there was one that Jesus used as His divine speaker.

After six wonderful talks delivered by 3 beautiful priests, we thought we were full. Each talk had a sweet and personal Godly message to it. But because we had all hit “mid afternoon” on Sat., we were beginning to tire out. One more speaker and then the Prayer for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit would begin.

Our one more speaker was Fr. Pathe. After an ample introduction by the Deacon, Fr. Pathe approached the pulpit. He brought about a little smile on everybody’s face and then he began to speak.

Fr. Pathe opened his mouth and the Holy Spirit began to fill it. He spoke as if each of us were the woman at the well. Growing accustomed to the abuse of the world.
Thirsty for the Love of God.

You could see Jesus Christ, leaning forward on the pulpit and looking at us with the strong love of Christ in his eyes …
“If you only knew the Gift of God…”, repeating it again and again.  “If you only knew the Gift of God…”

A miracle of God hushed the room and in the silence all you could hear was Christ. The transformation was obvious. And the love of God was pouring forth on us all. As if the Whisper in a Cave had come over the room. Powerful, intimate, & personal. Bathing us all in the powerful “Living Water” of the Holy Spirit of God!

The Holy Spirit talked on through Fr. Pathe, and you wanted to close your eyes, look up to the heavens, and just drink it all in.

It was a tremendous finale to a day of many good talks and all our hearts were opened, prepared, and ready to receive the “Gift of God” that Jesus had spoken about to the “Woman at the Well!”

Just wanted to share that experience with all of you!

You are so very loved,
In Jesus
Joseph & Deborah

COME HOLY SPIRIT

Come Holy Spirit,

fill the hearts of your faithful

and kindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.

And you shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit,

did instruct the hearts of the faithful,

grant that by the same Holy Spirit

we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations,

Through Christ Our Lord,

Amen.
